When you stop driving the Cyclops the engine should shut off automatically. If you activate those and leave them on they drain the power of your Cyclops even when you're not driving the Cyclops. One is for shields (if you installed them) You'll see other HUD buttons to the right-side. The faster you run your engine, the greater your speed but the more noise it makes and thus more aggressive creatures it can draw attention of. You have to aim your crosshairs at that propeller symbol then hit your 'use' button (the button you press to use tools or grab things) to 'press' that HUD button and fire up the engines.Īfter you fire up the engines, you'll see 3 more HUD icons show up below on left side. You should see a square with a propeller symbol in your upper-left side of the Cyclops window. When you take the helm of the Cyclops, the HUD will display some icons on the Cyclops front window.
